Boss Fight Guide
Dragon Descendant Guide
Difficulty Rating
- Medium difficulty. The two-phase mechanic is the core challenge; the enraged state in Phase 2 requires advance preparation.
Phase 1 Key Points
- Low damage multiplier (0.3x), not much pressure.
- Watch for the rocket attached every 10 bullets, 1-meter blast radius — keep your distance.
- One incendiary bomb every 5 seconds; watch for fire zones on the ground.
- Maintain steady damage output, no need to rush.
Phase 2 Key Points
- At 50% HP it will "fake die" and revive — don't celebrate early.
- After revival, damage increases significantly (1.1x + 1.5x crit), pursuit speed ×1.5.
- Contact deals collision damage — keep your distance.
- Incendiary bomb frequency increases to 1 per second, and it throws them at itself to heal.
- Key: maintain high damage output to suppress it and deny healing opportunities.
Counters
- Wear Dragon Set / Dragon King Set: fire damage heals you instead, greatly reducing difficulty.
- Ice-element weapons/ammo: can slow it down in Phase 2.
- Reverse Scale totem: a safety net in case things go wrong.
No-Hit Kill Tips
- Phase 1: stay at medium range, dodge rockets and incendiary bombs.
- Phase 2 is the hard part: use dash to create distance, don't let it get close.
- Wearing Dragon Set makes you immune to fire damage; you only need to dodge collisions and bullets.
- Use the Boss Filter to disable other bosses and face it alone.
Skyburner Dragon Lord Guide
Difficulty Rating
- Highest difficulty. 7 skills + two phases + "Protect me, my child!" mechanic — requires thorough preparation and repeated practice.
General Tips
- The Skyburner Dragon Lord hovers in the air (3-5 meters); melee weapons can barely reach it — prioritize firearms.
- It follows your movement; don't try to outrun its tracking range.
- Staying mobile is the most important rule for survival.
Skill Responses
- Prismatic Bolt: 8 tracking projectiles that track for 2.5 seconds then go straight — sustained lateral movement shakes them off.
- Charge: 0.8-second windup + ground warning circle — move perpendicular to the charge direction immediately upon seeing the warning.
- Solar Dance: teleports near you — find gaps between the rotating beams, or run outward to escape the range.
- Rainbow Ring: 13 stellar bodies spiral outward — run outward during expansion, move inward during contraction.
- Phantom Spear: 1-second warning lines — read the line directions and stand between them.
Phase 2 Changes
- Attack interval shortened from 1.0 seconds to 0.5 seconds.
- Charge becomes two consecutive charges.
- New Spiral Prismatic Bolt and Phantom Spear Barrage (4 waves × 16 spears) added.
- Requires faster reactions and more aggressive positioning.
"Protect me, my child!" Phase
- At 1 HP the Dragon Lord ascends and summons a half-stat Dragon Descendant.
- The Dragon Lord fires Prismatic Bolts every 3 seconds.
- Prioritize killing the Dragon Descendant while dodging Prismatic Bolts.
- The Dragon Lord only truly dies after the Dragon Descendant is killed.
Recommended Equipment
- Dragon Set / Dragon King Set: fire immunity + dash mobility.
- High DPS firearms: shorter fight = fewer chances to make mistakes.
- Cloud Rider totem: aerial evasion of ground-based skills.
- Reverse Scale: emergency lifesaver.
- Sufficient ammo and medical supplies.
No-Hit Kill Tips
- Requires complete familiarity with all skill telegraphs and safe positions.
- The Dragon King Set's dash is the best evasion tool (0.5-second cooldown, 6-meter distance).
- Phase 2 is the biggest challenge with doubled attack frequency.
- During the "Protect me, my child!" phase, manage two targets simultaneously.
- Recommended to clear other bosses with the Boss Filter first and practice repeatedly.
General Boss Fight Tips
- Use arena cover and terrain to your advantage.
- The ammo shop near the signpost lets you restock anytime.
- In multi-boss waves, watch the directional indicators on screen to avoid being surrounded.
- If a particular boss is too tough, use the Boss Filter to temporarily disable it.
- Kill speed affects drop quality — the faster you kill, the higher the chance of quality drops.
- See Loot and Rewards for detailed drop mechanics.
TIP
Wearing Dragon Set / Dragon King Set greatly reduces the difficulty of both dragon bosses, as fire damage is converted into healing.
