v2.3.4

From BossRush · Qinglan Archipelago Wiki

Release Date

  • 2026-10-16
  • A player-feedback patch: Lifesteal now heals on the killing blow, Easy Mode no longer throws the Phantom Witch at you in the first 20 waves, the Sky Islands map circles the twin-beacon gate sign itself, and Bosses that bleed out in Fate Echo or the standard challenge are counted as kills again.

Improved

  • Lifesteal: the killing blow now counts as a hit, so you no longer have to leave an enemy alive to heal. Cooldown and heal amount are unchanged. Zombie Mode's Hit Heal rewards also trigger on the killing blow.
  • Easier to find the twin-beacon gate: once both lights are fixed, press M and the purple circle sits right on the twin-beacon gate sign on Windsong Boardwalk, next to Hanging Root Wood, labelled as the place to call the Windeater. After the Windeater is beaten and while the old centre bridge is still closed, the label switches to opening the centre bridge there. The wind-vane compass and the K3 gate notice name the sign too.

Fixed

  • Fixed the Phantom Witch showing up at the start of Easy Mode and Hard Mode: she was missing from the list of strong Bosses kept out of the first 20 waves. With a small Boss pool (fewer than 20 ordinary Bosses), the Dragon Lord, Dragon Descendant, Phantom Witch and Storm Bosses are also pushed to the last waves.
  • Fixed Fate Echo Bosses that bled out not counting as kills and leaving the wave stuck. When a Boss dies but another mod cuts off the death message, the kill is now recorded within 0.25 seconds and the wave settles normally.
  • Fixed the same case in the standard challenge and Infinite Hell, where the next wave only started after a 10-second self-check and that Boss's kill achievements and Infinite Hell cash were lost; it now settles as a normal kill within 0.25 seconds.
  • The Sky Islands "Optional challenge · the Windeater" circle used to sit on the wind eye 31 m away from the sign, so there was nothing to interact with inside it; it now circles the sign itself.
