Blood Hunt Guide

Core Concept

• Blood Hunt is the hardest mode in the Mod.
• You continuously lose health, and the only way to heal is by killing Bosses.
• Health drain accelerates across four phases, with the ultimate goal of successfully extracting during the extraction phase.

Preparation Phase (180s, 1%/sec)

• The most relaxed phase with the lowest drain rate.
• Kill a few Bosses quickly to heal and obtain fortification items.
• Scavenge gear and upgrade weapons and armor from loot crates.
• Pre-deploy covers at key positions.
• Familiarize yourself with the map layout and memorize spawn point locations.

Bounty Phase (180s, 1.5%/sec)

• The bounty list is generated — 40-50% of Bosses are marked.
• Watch the Bounty Radar and prioritize killing high-mark bounty Bosses.
• Killing bounty Bosses heals more (75% vs 50%) and grants extra drops.
• Bosses also kill each other and inherit Bounty Marks — keep an eye on changes to the Bounty Leader.
• Accumulated Bounty Marks = number of rewards upon extraction.

Hunt Surge Phase (180s, 2%/sec)

• All Bosses begin an all-out hunt for you.
• Unmarked Bosses gain +50% movement speed — very fast.
• This is the most dangerous combat phase; you must maintain a high kill pace to sustain your health.
• Fortifications are critical in this phase — use covers and roadblocks to create safe firing positions.
• Don't stop — keep moving and fighting.

Extraction Phase (unlimited, 3%/sec)

• The extraction point spawns far from your location.
• All Bosses gain +50% movement speed; unmarked Bosses gain +100%.
• Drain rate is at its highest — 3% of initial max health per second.
• Don't linger in fights — head straight for the extraction point.
• Stand at the extraction point for 15 seconds to successfully extract.
• You can deploy fortifications to protect yourself during extraction.

WARNING

At 3% health drain per second during extraction, hesitation means death.

Fortification Usage Strategy

• Foldable Cover Pack: Deploy anytime for temporary cover; you get the most of these.
• Reinforced Roadblock Pack: Deploy at key chokepoints or around the extraction point; 500 HP makes them very durable.
• Barbed Wire Pack: Deploy on Boss approach routes to slow their advance.
• Emergency Repair Spray: Repair damaged fortifications to extend their lifespan.

Extraction Point Defense

• After reaching the extraction point, quickly deploy fortifications around it.
• Use Reinforced Roadblock Packs to block the main approaches.
• Barbed Wire slows approaching Bosses.
• Foldable Covers fill in the gaps.
• Use Emergency Repair Spray to maintain damaged fortifications.
• Hold for 15 seconds to complete extraction.

Bounty Mark Strategy

• The more Bounty Marks you have, the richer the extraction rewards.
• But pursuing marks means more combat risk.
• Balance survival and profit: making it out alive matters more than grabbing a few extra marks.
• Killing high-mark Bosses heals more (75% + max health increase per mark count).

Recommended Gear

• High DPS weapons: You need fast Boss kills to sustain your health.
• Dragon King Set: Dash mobility + fire immunity.
• Cloud Rider totem: Aerial mobility for quickly reaching the extraction point.
• Reverse Scale: A last-resort lifesaver.
• Plenty of ammo: Can be purchased from the Mystery Merchant.

TIP

The most essential skill in Blood Hunt is pacing — knowing when to fight, when to run, and when to deploy fortifications.
